Kidney Friendly Resources

If you ever you want to hear some other voices in the nutrition world, here are some of my favorite trustworthy websites and books that are authored by licensed healthcare professionals.

The National Kidney Foundation is my favorite resource for kidney disease. They're an American non-profit that specializes in education and advocacy in the world of kidney disease and their site is completely free to access.

The Kidney Dietitian is run by Melanie Betz, MS, RD, CSR, FAND, who specializes in kidney stone prevention through diet.

Jen Moore, MS, RDN, CSR, LDN authored Plant-Fed Kidneys. Jen is an author and speaker who is passionate about preserving kidney function through diet.

The PKDietitian is run by Diana Bruen, MS, RD who specializes in the treatment of Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) through nutrition.

Jen Hernandez, RDN, CSR, LDN runs Plant-Powered Kidneys, where she specializes in plant-based eating to treat kidney disease.

The Plant Powered Dietitian is run by Sharon Palmer, MS, RD, who has published many books on plant-based diets and diabetes.
